Someone is bugging/harassing/threatening me via this website - what can I do about it?
  • The best thing to do if and when you encounter such a situation is report it to the NZMS website administers and simply ignore them. Generally, 99.9% of the time they will soon lose interest and leave you alone.
  • If you are being harassed by an advertiser, simply report this as abuse and the user will be dealt with accordingly.
  • In both cases, you can be assured the NZMS website administrators will follow through on your complaint and take appropriate action. Such actions, and the likely consequences are outlined in our terms and conditions section.
Where do I report spammers?
  • If any user is spamming or trying to spam the site, please use the report inappropriate use link to report the spammer and our Moderators will investigate the report.
How do I report a copyright violation?
  • If you believe that your own contributions or your work has been copied and posted in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please use the report abuse feature and provide the following information: 1) a description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed; 2) a description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the website; 3) your address, telephone number, and email address; 4) a written statement by you that the above information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
